And very happy being squeezed into a tight corner.
The Little Wild Bench is a compact handmade two-seater with a lot of character packed into a relatively small package.
At 100 cm wide, it’s perfect for patios, garden corners, glamping spaces and anywhere else you fancy sitting close together without needing a full-blown seating arrangement.
Built from solid timber with natural live-edge boards across the seat and backrest, every one comes with its own knots, bark, grain, curves and little imperfections.
No two are exactly alike.
Which is generally more interesting anyway.

Compact, but with enough room for two.

So if you’re sitting next to someone you quite like, that’s ideal.
THE WOOD
Natural knots, bark, grain and live-edge details are all deliberately left visible.
Some bits are smooth.
Some bits are rough.
Some bits stick out in ways that probably shouldn’t be encouraged.
That’s half the fun.

This is a proper handmade bench, not a factory-perfect clone.
It’s small enough to fit almost anywhere, but chunky enough to feel like a real bit of furniture.
And because it’s made from real timber, it’s got more personality than most people’s patio sets.

If you’re in North Wales, we’ll usually bring it to you ourselves. Further afield, we’ll arrange the best way of getting it to you safely — pallet, courier, van, or whatever makes most sense for the piece.
Some of the larger and more gloriously awkward creations may need a little extra organising, particularly if you’re a long way from us, but we’ll sort that with you directly.
Collection is always welcome too.

Sizes, materials and framing
Print sizes: A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm, A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm, A2 is 42 × 59.4 cm and A1 is 59.4 × 84.1 cm. Prints are produced on heavyweight art paper and signed, titled and numbered in pencil.
Framed prints are mounted, so the finished frame is larger than the print size. Frames are available in gold, light wood or dark wood on most designs; ask if you need exact external dimensions for a particular spot.
Glassware is painted by hand and kiln-fired. Hand wash to keep it looking its best.

Delivery and returns
Delivery: standard tracked UK delivery is free on everything in the art shop. An express option is available at checkout. We currently ship within the UK only; get in touch if you're overseas and we'll see what we can do.
Dispatch: prints and in-stock glass leave the studio within a few working days. Made-to-order glass, pet portraits and originals take longer, and we'll confirm a date with you.
Returns: stock items can be returned within 30 days. Personalised and commissioned pieces can't be returned for a change of mind, but anything faulty or damaged in transit will be replaced or refunded. Full details in our returns policy.
