A perfectly innocent story. Until you read the birds.

Meet Arthur, Mabel and the vicar in four illustrated stories full of bird-name wordplay and wonderfully unfortunate misunderstandings. Bird pictures replace words in each story; the matching illustrated key reveals how to read them.

Choose an individual tea towel for £15, either three-towel set for £45, or the complete collection of five for £75.

  • The Birdwatchers’ Evening — £15
  • The Great Bird Scandal — £15
  • The Entirely Innocent Garden Party — £15
  • The Masked Bird Ball — £15
  • The Illustrated Bird Key — £15
  • Set 1: The Birdwatchers’ Evening + The Great Bird Scandal + The Illustrated Bird Key — £45
  • Set 2: The Entirely Innocent Garden Party + The Masked Bird Ball + The Illustrated Bird Key — £45
  • Complete collection: all four stories + The Illustrated Bird Key — £75

The key tea towel is sold separately unless included in your chosen set.

Sizes, materials and framing

Print sizes: A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm, A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm, A2 is 42 × 59.4 cm and A1 is 59.4 × 84.1 cm. Prints are produced on heavyweight art paper and signed, titled and numbered in pencil.

Framed prints are mounted, so the finished frame is larger than the print size. Frames are available in gold, light wood or dark wood on most designs; ask if you need exact external dimensions for a particular spot.

Glassware is painted by hand and kiln-fired. Hand wash to keep it looking its best.
