For people who like their relationships open, warm and involving more than one bench.
The Open Relationship puts two substantial handmade timber benches opposite each other, creating a social setup for around six to eight adults who are apparently very comfortable sharing.
Plenty of room.
Plenty of eye contact.
And a fire involved.
What could possibly go wrong?
A compact log burner sits beneath one end of the seating inside a purpose-made fire-resistant enclosure, keeping things hot underneath while everyone else tries to behave normally.
Opposite, the second bench comes with a useful ledge for drinks, food, bottles and any other essentials required once the evening starts getting a little more complicated.

Made from chunky treated timber, with the knots, grain, marks and natural character left proudly visible.
Because with this much wood on show, pretending it’s all perfectly smooth would seem dishonest.

THE HOT BIT
The compact log burner is positioned beneath one end of the seating inside a purpose-made, fire-resistant enclosure.
So yes, there’s heat underneath.
And yes, everyone sitting above it will know about it.
Final stove and flue requirements are confirmed for the individual installation.
Because open relationships are one thing.
Open flames are another.

Delivery
UK delivery is included in the price.
If you’re in North Wales, we’ll usually bring it to you ourselves. Further afield, we’ll arrange the best way of getting it to you safely — pallet, courier, van, or whatever makes most sense for the piece.
Some of the larger and more gloriously awkward creations may need a little extra organising, particularly if you’re a long way from us, but we’ll sort that with you directly.
Collection is always welcome too.

Sizes, materials and framing
Sizes, materials and framing
Print sizes: A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm, A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm, A2 is 42 × 59.4 cm and A1 is 59.4 × 84.1 cm. Prints are produced on heavyweight art paper and signed, titled and numbered in pencil.
Framed prints are mounted, so the finished frame is larger than the print size. Frames are available in gold, light wood or dark wood on most designs; ask if you need exact external dimensions for a particular spot.
Glassware is painted by hand and kiln-fired. Hand wash to keep it looking its best.

Delivery and returns
Delivery: standard tracked UK delivery is free on everything in the art shop. An express option is available at checkout. We currently ship within the UK only; get in touch if you're overseas and we'll see what we can do.
Dispatch: prints and in-stock glass leave the studio within a few working days. Made-to-order glass, pet portraits and originals take longer, and we'll confirm a date with you.
Returns: stock items can be returned within 30 days. Personalised and commissioned pieces can't be returned for a change of mind, but anything faulty or damaged in transit will be replaced or refunded. Full details in our returns policy.
