Two handmade garden armchairs for doing absolutely bugger all.
Together.
The Two Lazy Bastards are a matched pair of chunky timber armchairs with reclined backs, proper armrests and individually shaped live-edge timber features — because if you’re going to sit around all day doing nothing, you may as well do it on something solid.
They’re built for two people who enjoy a bit of support, a comfortable recline and the occasional bit of nice wood under their hands.
No judgement.
Each chair is slightly different, with its own knots, grain, bark, curves and natural irregularities.
One might be a bit straighter.
One might be a bit more twisted.
That’s relationships for you.

Plenty of width.
Good depth.
And enough recline to encourage very poor productivity.

Some things just work better in pairs.
Perfect beside a fire pit, on a patio, outside a cabin or anywhere two people plan to sit down, lean back and achieve absolutely nothing for a suspiciously long time.
Natural knots, grain, bark and differences between the two chairs are all deliberate parts of the design.
No two pieces of wood are exactly the same.
Frankly, neither are most couples.

UK delivery is included in the price.
If you’re in North Wales, we’ll usually bring it to you ourselves. Further afield, we’ll arrange the best way of getting it to you safely — pallet, courier, van, or whatever makes most sense for the piece.
Some of the larger and more gloriously awkward creations may need a little extra organising, particularly if you’re a long way from us, but we’ll sort that with you directly.
Collection is always welcome too.

Sizes, materials and framing
Print sizes: A4 is 21 × 29.7 cm, A3 is 29.7 × 42 cm, A2 is 42 × 59.4 cm and A1 is 59.4 × 84.1 cm. Prints are produced on heavyweight art paper and signed, titled and numbered in pencil.
Framed prints are mounted, so the finished frame is larger than the print size. Frames are available in gold, light wood or dark wood on most designs; ask if you need exact external dimensions for a particular spot.
Glassware is painted by hand and kiln-fired. Hand wash to keep it looking its best.

Delivery and returns
Delivery: standard tracked UK delivery is free on everything in the art shop. An express option is available at checkout. We currently ship within the UK only; get in touch if you're overseas and we'll see what we can do.
Dispatch: prints and in-stock glass leave the studio within a few working days. Made-to-order glass, pet portraits and originals take longer, and we'll confirm a date with you.
Returns: stock items can be returned within 30 days. Personalised and commissioned pieces can't be returned for a change of mind, but anything faulty or damaged in transit will be replaced or refunded. Full details in our returns policy.
